What’s the difference between Basic and Advanced mode?
The first time you open MyJobOutreach, you’ll be asked to choose between Basic and Advanced mode:
– Basic Mode gives you the core features in a simpler layout—perfect if you’re just getting started or want a clean, distraction-free experience.
– Advanced Mode unlocks all features, settings, and tabs, including experimental tools and granular customization options.
You can switch modes anytime from the settings panel. No need to reinstall.
How do I get a ChatGPT or SalesQL API key?

How much does the ChatGPT API cost me?
Most users spend around $2–$5/week, depending on how often and how extensively they use the tool. Scripts and cover letters consume minimal tokens, while longer profile analyses or bulk outreach use more.
How does contact extraction work?
Paste any contact-rich content (from LinkedIn, TheOrg, etc.) into the Extract Contacts screen. MyJobOutreach will automatically parse and organize the data—like name, title, email, and LinkedIn profile—and enrich it via API integrations for maximum accuracy.
Can I use this for networking too?
Absolutely. You can choose templates for job applications, networking, or build your own from scratch. Whether you’re reaching out for advice, referrals, or partnerships, MyJobOutreach helps you craft messages that get responses.
What can I do inside the Outreach Tab?
Inside the Outreach tab, you can:

How does the AI personalize my cover letter?
MyJobOutreach automatically generates a personalized cover letter based on your profile and the job description. The AI tailors the content to match your experience and the role you’re applying for. You’ll get a Word document you can tweak and it will get automatically attached in emails.
What are Experimental Features?
These are early-access features still in development. They may not be fully stable, but they offer powerful automation tools for advanced users. Use them at your own discretion—they’re meant for exploring what’s coming next.
What data is extracted from pasted contacts?
If available in the text, MyJobOutreach will extract:
– Name
– Company
– Job Title
– Email
– Linkedin URL
You can further enrich this data using SalesQL and/or TheOrg API integrations. Additionally, if an email address is missing, you can use the email suggestion feature to generate possible email addresses for those contacts.
Can I personalize messages using variables?

Why aren’t new companies showing up under Suggestions?
MyJobOutreach automatically filters out duplicates to avoid redundancy. If you’re not seeing new options:
– Widen your “What I’m Looking For” description
– Change industries, keywords, or target roles
– Reset or refresh your suggestions
The broader the criteria, the more results you’ll get.
Where do job listings come from?
We use Jooble, a powerful job aggregator that pulls listings from thousands of boards and company sites globally—so you get more reach with less manual searching.
Can I install MyJobOutreach on multiple devices?
Each license is linked to one device. If you need access on multiple computers (e.g., desktop + laptop), you’ll need additional licenses.
What if I reinstall Windows or reset my PC?
You can reuse your license key on the same device anytime—no need to repurchase.
Where does the “availability” feature get my schedule from?
It syncs directly with your Outlook Calendar, ensuring your availability is always current. If you use Google Calendar, you can follow this guide to sync it with Outlook.
